Job Description

We are looking for a full-stack developer with a keen understanding of WordPress CMS to join our team. As a developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. In addition, you will be responsible for managing and launching new features and pages that are necessary for streamlining business processes and improving the technical operation of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive web design and transforming it into a working theme and plugin
  • Conducting website performance tests
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
  • Identifying key areas for improvement and, where possible, areas to streamline business processes
  • Working with the rest of the team to maximise productivity and introduce automation and technology

The successful candidate will

  • Have an in-depth understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, as well as frameworks such as WordPress.
  • Have experience designing and developing responsive website designs 
  • Be comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
  • Possess the ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across all platforms and browsers
  • Demonstrate the ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Have a strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Understanding of DIVI Theme Builder is an advantage 
  • A keen eye for design and the ability to work with digital product design platforms such as Adobe XD, InVision, etc, or graphic design software like Photoshop.
