6 Reasons to Intern in London This Summer
For your career
Europe's Business Capital
London is one of the biggest financial and business centres in the world. A London internship is a CV line recruiters recognise anywhere.
Learn Fast in a Global Team
Colleagues from everywhere, clients across time zones. You learn how international business actually runs, not how a textbook says it does.
Experience That Travels With You
Leave with London work experience on your CV, a reference from your host company and stories that win every interview after this. Plus a network that lasts well beyond the summer.
For your camera roll
Long, Light Summer Evenings
In June the sun sets after 9pm, so you get hours of daylight after work. Mild days around the low 20s. Pack a brolly anyway.
Nearly 9 Million People
Over 300 languages are spoken here. Meet the world without leaving Zone 2, and make friends in every time zone.
World-Class Culture, Free
The British Museum, Tate Modern, the National Gallery and the Natural History Museum are all free to walk into. Your weekends, sorted.
Your Week in London
Monday to Friday, you build your CV. Evenings and weekends, you build the stories.
Your Weekday: A Day in the Life
9am to 5:30pm at your desk, then the city is yours. Drag through a typical weekday.
The commute
Tube, bus or a hire bike along the river. Everyone has an opinion on the best route. You will too by week two.
Morning stand-up
Coffee in hand, laptop open. Your team knows your name and your project from day one.
Elevenses
Yes, it's a real thing. Tea round etiquette: always offer before you make your own.
Lunch, sorted
A meal deal on a bench in the sunshine, or street food at a market round the corner.
Work that ships
Client decks, campaign launches, analysis your manager actually uses. This is the bit that goes on your CV.
Clock off
The light's still golden. In June the sun doesn't set until after 9pm, so the evening's only getting started.
Riverside drinks
A pint, or a lime and soda, with your cohort by the Thames. Every flatmate is a future contact.
Networking night
Industry events and cohort socials where small talk turns into LinkedIn connections and job leads.
West End or rooftop
Last-minute theatre tickets, a rooftop with a view, or a cheeky curry on Brick Lane.
Home, sweet halls
Night buses run all night, and the Night Tube runs on Fridays and Saturdays. Bed, then do it all again.

Why the summer deadline is earlier than you think
Summer Starts in May. Your Deadline Is in March.
Most students start looking in spring. By then, the May and June starts have closed. Here's why we need a 10-week runway.
Illustrative. Every placement moves at its own pace, and the 10 weeks cover all of it.
Good Matches Take Care
We put your profile in front of host companies that fit your goals, interview by interview. Rushing it means settling.
Your Visa Needs an Offer First
Tier 5 sponsorship follows your placement, then the UK visa decision follows that. The order is fixed, so time has to be built in.
Summer in London Books Up
Housing, flights and host company places all get snapped up as summer gets closer. Early applicants get the widest choice.
Why Capital Placement
We Only Win When You Get Placed
