Eligibility

You are a current undergraduate student or a graduate of a university in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or the United States.
For undergraduates: you have been a resident and a full-time student of the university from one of the above countries for at least 3 months before applying for the programme.
For graduates: you were a resident and a full-time student of the university from one of the above ten countries.
You are aged 18 to 25.

Is English spoken in Singapore?

Yes! English is one of the official languages of Singapore! You will not have to worry about having a language barrier. However, if you do want to learn another language, Singapore has three other official languages: Tamil, Mandarin, and Malay!

Are the internships in Singapore paid?
Yes! All of our Singapore internships are paid. The typical pay for the internships will range between S$700- S$2200 per month. The pay is determined by your employer, depending on your education and work history, all of this will be discussed with you before you accept an offer for an internship from an employer.
How long does it take to find an internship in Singapore?
Our usual process will take 4 months from you paying the deposit to you arriving in Singapore to start your internship.
Is there a currency difference?

Yes, Singapore uses the Singapore dollar as its currency. It is currently S$1 to $0.70 or S$1 to £0.57. This is subject to change.

What are the eligibility requirements for an internship in Singapore?
To be eligible to intern in Singapore, you must be between the ages of 18 and 25, at the time of you intending to start your internship. In addition to this, you must be a graduate from a university in France, United Kingdom, the United States of America, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia or New Zealand. You must also be a full-time student, on-campus and must have studied in one of the above countries. You will not be eligible if you study in/ graduated from a satellite campus outside of one of the above-listed countries.
What if I’m a graduate from one of the countries listed, but I’m not from there?
If you have graduated from a university listed in the requirements, you are still eligible even if your home country is not listed. For example, if you are a Canadian national, but study in or graduated from a UK University, you will be eligible to participate in an internship in Singapore.
What if I’m not a graduate from one of the universities listed?
Unfortunately, you would not be eligible for an internship in Singapore. However, you may be eligible for our graduate internships in New York or graduate internships in London.
Do I need a degree to be eligible for the graduate internships in Singapore?
Our graduate internships are designed for recent graduates and postgraduates. You can apply for our graduate program up to 18 months before your graduation date. However, you will need your degree certificate before you can start your internship in Singapore. If you would prefer to do an internship while at university, you can take a look at our short-term internship in Singapore.

If you wish to do this program before graduating, please get in touch and we will consider your application on a case by case basis.

How does the Singapore internship process work?
Once you have successfully passed our interview and have joined the program, we will begin scheduling interviews with companies that fit your desired career goals. From here, you will interview with our chosen partner companies. When you have received your offer and have accepted it, we will begin working to get your in-principle approval for your Work Holiday Pass. When you have received this, you are ready to book your flights and start your internship in Singapore!
