Our pre-medical internships including public and private hospital settings, volunteering opportunities in rural medical camps, as well as specialised surgeries or clinics in large and small hospitals. A number of our partner hospitals who take our candidate and provide a shadowing experience across various different departments, rotating after set amounts of time throughout the intern period. This gives students a chance to find out their passion and desired speciality, for future study and to identify their career route.
For our pre-medical internships, candidates must be interested in clinical psychology within a specific setting, as part of the Indian Institute of Psychology and Research.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Likely Task
The range of tasks will generally depend upon the setting the intern is placed in, however stock control within the clinical area is a task that will be expected to be carried out, speaking to patients, taking clinical history, carrying out basic medical tasks under supervision, observing more complicated medical tasks, including surgery, taking bodily observations and recording them accurately, and assisting nursing staff, under supervision.
Level of Work Available For Interns
Due to the nature of the work, tasks are supervised at all times, helping the intern to develop their confidence over a period of time. This also includes working as part of a team and carrying out some unsupervised basic tasks.
Available Support
All interns within the healthcare industry will have a dedicated supervisor, to help, support, and advise throughout the period of the internship placement.

Laboratory
Assist in conducting materials testing and analysis. Study procedures and specifications, then report and recommend actions based on data gathered to optimize performance and ensure quality control.
