UK Career Accelerator Program: Terms and Conditions

International Student Bootcamp & London Internship Program General Terms and Conditions

These are the General Terms and Conditions set out by Capital Placement Limited and Capital Placement London Limited, trading as “Capital Placement”, valid for the International Student Career Bootcamp & London Internship program (“Bootcamp program”, “The program”) with Capital Placement (“We”, “CP”, “Us”, “The Company”) by you (“Participant”, “You”, “Your”, “Applicant”, “Student”, “Client”).

All programs are subject to these conditions, which become legally binding upon making an application. Capital Placement reserves the right to reject applications at its discretion if such action is deemed necessary in the interests of the client, Capital Placement, or any of our partners.

1.Our Obligation

In return for receipt of your full program fee, CP will deliver the following services:

  • Delivery of a 1-week in-person employability Bootcamp in London
  • Provision of employability training
  • Matching and sourcing of a voluntary 8-week in-person internship in London
  • Access to a dedicated program Advisor
  • Ongoing support before and during the internship placement
  • The program provides work experience, not employment.

2.Your Obligations

All programs are subject to these conditions, which become legally binding upon making an application. Failure to adhere to these conditions may result in removal from the program without a refund.

During your time in the program, you will:

  • Maintain professional and respectful conduct at all times
  • Comply with instructions from CP staff, partners and subcontractors
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your application and communications
  • Be available to attend the Bootcamp and complete the full internship period
  • Submit the requested documents within 5 working days
  • Respond to CP communications within 48 working hours
  • Attend all interviews, training sessions and scheduled activities on time
  • Engage fully with all employability preparation and program resources
  • Follow your host company’s policies, dress code, conduct and working practices
  • Complete tasks assigned by your host company to the best of your ability
  • Communicate any complaints or concerns to CP in writing
  • Take responsibility for your conduct and comply with UK laws and visa conditions
  • You understand that CP has no control over the specific tasks, workload or projects provided by the host company.

Failure to comply with the above may result in termination of your participation with immediate effect and no refund.

The contract takes effect upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3.Fees & Payments

3.1 Payment Terms

Program fees can be paid by bank transfer, card payment, or other accepted methods.

The full program fee must be paid within 5 calendar days of receiving an invoice.

Payment is defined as the receipt of funds in our bank account. Any bank charges are your responsibility.

3.2 Non-Payment

It is your responsibility to ensure payment can be made within the deadline.

Failure to pay may result in the withdrawal of your place.

4.Fees Explained

Program fees are not for securing employment.

Fees cover services provided by CP, including but not limited to:

  • Employability training
  • Bootcamp delivery
  • CV and interview preparation
  • Employer sourcing and matching
  • Program support and administration

5.Bootcamp Delivery

The Bootcamp will be delivered in London and participants are responsible for:

  • Travel to and within London
  • Accommodation
  • Living expenses
  • Other personal expenses 

CP may adjust the Bootcamp schedule, trainers or content if required, while ensuring equivalent delivery.

6. Internship Placement

The internship placement will only be confirmed after full payment of program fees.

CP will endeavour to match you with a suitable host company based on your preferences and background.

  • Acts as an intermediary between you and host companies
  • Cannot guarantee specific tasks or project content
  • Cannot guarantee employment following the internship

Once an internship offer has been accepted, the host company cannot be changed.

You agree to respect the confidentiality and intellectual property of the host company.

7.Internship Termination

If the host company terminates your internship due to:

  • Misconduct
  • Repeated absence or lateness
  • Poor performance or engagement
  • Breach of company rules or UK law

No refund will be issued and CP is under no obligation to provide another placement.

CP reserves the right to cancel your participation immediately.

8.Visa & Right to Work

Participants must ensure they hold valid right-to-work permission in the UK.

CP is not responsible for:

  • Visa refusal
  • Visa delays
  • Breach of visa conditions
  • Immigration outcomes

Failure to hold a valid visa/ permission may result in removal from the program without refund.

9. No Compensation Circumstances

No compensation, fee reduction, credit or refund will be provided for:

  • Late arrival or early departure
  • Absence from Bootcamp or internship
  • Unused services or resources
  • Public holidays or company closures
  • Failure to meet participant obligations

10.Limitation of Liability

CP is not liable for:

  • Actions or conduct of host companies
  • Accommodation or travel arrangements
  • Financial losses or living costs
  • Employment outcomes after the program

Liability is limited to the program fee paid.

11.Data Protection

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, Capital Placement is a data controller (ICO Registration: ZA208197).

We collect personal data, including contact details, communications, interview recordings and application materials to deliver program services.

12.Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
