Got a question?

Will the New York Internship be paid?
All our internships over 6 months in New York will be paid at least the national and state minimum wage.
How long does the process take?
Our internship will take 4 months from you placing your deposit to arriving in New York
Is New York safe?
NYC is actually one of the safest cities in the US. As of 2020, New York was actually rated to be among the top 25 safest cities in the world ahead of Washington D.C., Dallas, Paris and Rome.
What nationalities are allowed intern in New York?
All nationalities are welcome to apply for our New York internship.
Why isn’t the accommodation included in the program fee?
We find the majority of interns prefer their own way of life and this also includes their housing. We are happy to recommend some great accommodation providers, who will have everything you’re looking for and on an intern-friendly budget.
How do the payments work?

If you have successfully passed our interview and have received an offer to join, you will need to pay a deposit of £600 to secure your spot. The deposit will be deducted from the total program fee. The remaining amount will be split into two payments. The first payment is due once you have accepted an internship offer. The final amount is due once you have received your J-1 visa.

Do you offer any financial assistance or scholarship?

For any internship program over 6-months, we offer a graduate scholarship. You can find out more information about the scholarship on our scholarship page.

What is the refund policy?
If Capital Placement fails to find you an internship that you are happy with, we will give you back your deposit since it is the only thing we would have taken. You can read more about the refund policy on our guarantee page.
