FILM INTERNSHIPS
Our Film Internships will provide an exciting opportunity for interns to enhance and learn a variety of film and media production skills with global film and production companies.
Our Film Internships will provide experience with pre and post-production processes for film and media production. Interns will usually work closely with the executive producers and directors to achieve the desired result for the final film project. During the course of the internship, you could learn how to manage and oversee each project from conception to completion and may also be involved in the marketing and distribution process of film products.
To be successful in film internships, an intern must have some knowledge of directing skills and leadership skills to be able to take charge of projects. During the pre-production stages, interns will learn how to manage and arrange funding for projects and keep the production within the allocated budget. In the post-production stages, interns will often assist the film or video editor to assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that’s suitable for broadcasting. In a film internships, interns will have the opportunity to create a ‘rough cut’ of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages of the final product.
