I have been looking to enter into a niche industry of policy officer roles in the UK. I met Vinay, CEO of CP who put me in touch with Mavi.
The entire team from CP were hands-on from the get go. They went through my CV, made any necessary edits, scheduled weekly meetings. I was impressed at how fast and efficient Mavi was from the beginning. Thanks to the lovely work Mavi did, I now have two internships that I am taking on from this month. I am so thankful for both Mavi and Vinay for all that you did.
I would recommend Capital Placements to anyone who is looking for internships abroad and need a bit of help with it.
Mandri helped me by finding relevant internships. We had weekly calls for catch up as well interview practice where she gave me great advice to ace those interviews. I'm happy to say that I've not found an internship but a FULL TIME job with a startup, all thanks to Mandris help. Capital Placement is probably the best decision I have made and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an internship.
Thank you to Mandri and Capital Placement ❤️
which is based in London and has fairly good pay. I am really grateful for this programme and for Mandri's relentless help. Thank You! x
Many thanks to the team!
During this entire process, Capital Placement helped me at every step and ensured that I also got my visa through Bunac in a timely manner via Bunac.
The team at Capital Placement were always available for a call or email and constantly endeavoured to make my entire process a smooth one. All this despite the numerous Covid-19 restrictions in place in both India and UK.
Thank you.
Thank you for all the support and for making my dream of working in another country possible.
Summer Internship London FAQ
What kind of company will I be interning with?
The company you will be interning with depends entirely on your internship preferences, your performance during the interview, and the duration you have applied for. The companies we work with range from start-ups to large multinationals. The one thing they all have in common is that your internship with them will be both challenging and rewarding.
With all of Capital Placement’s programs, you are in complete control. If you successfully pass our Zoom interview, your CV will be presented to our partner firms that meet your career aspirations and you will have the opportunity to speak with your future supervisor and employer. If you are not satisfied with the company you have been provided with, we can provide you with additional company options to choose.
What do you mean by a guaranteed internship?
In the unlikely event, we are unable to find you a company that matches your preferences within the 8 week period, a full refund will be provided to you- no questions asked.
Can I change the company once I start my internship?
I’m a UK resident; why am I not eligible for the London Summer Internship Program?
Capital Placement’s programs are all about experiencing the rewards, excitement, and challenges of working in a foreign country. Most of us here have experienced it ourselves and are very passionate about having others benefit from it. Interning abroad is more than just about the internship, and this broad experience is something we are incredibly passionate about.
For this reason, we will not accept applications for programs in a country from residents of the same country- you are far better off without our help for this. We would like you to build not only professional experience but also a global experience that builds your international skill set as a global citizen.
If you are from the UK, why not intern in New York or Singapore and challenge yourself?
Will I be paid during the internship in London?
Due to UK visa regulations, paid summer internships in London are unavailable. However, we have numerous paid internship opportunities for internships over three months.
Please visit our London internships page to find more about paid internships in London: https://capital-placement.com/internships-in-london/
What is the procedure and timeline of applying for a Tier 5 Visa for summer internships?
The first thing you will need to do is secure a Sponsorship Certificate from an authorised Tier 5 visa provider. We work in partnership with BUNAC and AIESAC, allowing for a smooth facilitation of this process.
The visa sponsorship process could take up to 2-4 weeks at most, while the UK Visa and Immigration Office’s standard visa application processing time is 15 working days.
How long does it take to secure an internship after receiving an offer from Capital Placement?
It normally takes 3 – 4 months from accepting our offer to arriving in London to start your internship.
How do the payments work for summer internships?
You would need to pay a £50 application fee to initiate your internship procedure. If you have successfully passed our interview and have received an offer to join, you will need to pay a deposit of £600 to secure your place on the summer program. The deposit will be deducted from the total program fee. The remaining amount will be split into two equal payments. The first payment is due once you have accepted an internship offer from the employer you wish to work for. The final amount is due once you have received your Tier 5 visa sponsorship.
How long are summer internships?
Summer internships generally occur during the months of April, May, June and July and are varied from a 6-8 week duration.Â
The main focus of these type of internships are to provide interns with a fair practical knowledge in their industry during a short timeline, ideally during graduate summer vacation.
What is the refund policy?
If Capital Placement fails to find you an internship that you are happy with, we will refund all your money in full. You can read more about the refund policy on our guarantees page.
