  • You are a current undergraduate student or a graduate of a university in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, UK or USA.
  • For undergraduates: you have been a resident and a full-time student of the university from one of the above country for at least 3 months before applying for the programme.
  • For graduates: you were a resident and a full-time student of the university from one of the above nine countries.

What do you mean by guaranteed internship in Singapore?

Once you have been accepted onto one of Capital Placement’s programmes, we guarantee to find you an internship in Singapore, in the industry you have applied for. All our internships are tailored to your preferences which is why we take the time to get to know you before you are matched to an employer so that we can ensure that you get the most out of your experience.

How long does Capital Placement need to find an internship?

We ask all applicants to apply a minimum of 12 weeks before you intend to start your internship. This gives us sufficient time to find that perfect internship for you and get all the logistics for your arrival in place.

We understand that not everything goes according to plan and so we do have a fast track service where can arrange everything for you in as little as 4 weeks. Please get in touch and we will be happy to give you more details about our fast track service.

Do I need a visa to intern in Singapore?

Yes, you need to obtain “Work Holiday Permit” from the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore- don’t worry, if you are on our internship programme, we will take care of all of this and obtain a visa for you to do an internship in Singapore.

What kind of industries do you offer internships in Singapore?

Are there any additional interviews after the Capital Placement's Skype interview?

There may be an additional interview with the company. Even if there isn’t any additional interviews, we insist on you having a call with the firm you wish to intern with and your prospective supervisor, so that you and the employer can understand each other and set expectations for the internship.

Will I get paid during my internship in Singapore?

Yes, you will receive a stipend ranging from S$700 to S$1500. The stipend you will receive is set by the company you are going to be interning with, the actual amount will vary depending on your employer.

When do I have to pay Capital Placement the programme fee?

There is no fee to make an online application or to go through our recruitment process. Once you are guaranteed an internship with an offer on our programme, you have to pay a deposit of £400. The remaining programme fee is due when you receive an offer letter from the firm you are going to be interning with.

Why is the Singapore internship programme limited to applicants from 9 countries?

We would love to make this programme open to all candidates but these are the requirements placed by the Singaporean government, to qualify for the visa.
